BRANDYN STEELE
When did you first get into photography? When did you start shooting film?
I've been around cameras my whole life. My dad was a professional photographer and I practically grew up in his studio when I was little. I only started using film in early 2019 as a fun side hobby. Now I'm addicted.

What camera are you currently using the most? What’s your go-to film?
It's a tie between my Polaroid SX-70 or my Canon A1. I have a love/hate relationship with both of them, so when I'm annoyed with one I'll use the other. And it's almost always b&w film. Ilford HP5 to be specific for 35mm.
Your dream camera?
I'm a rangefinder geek, so 100% a Leica M6 and a Mamiya 7ii. Then I can get my 35mm and my 120 fix.

One camera, one film, one location for an entire year. What are they? (don’t worry about costs, can be a discontinued stock, assume a film lab is at your location)
I'm going to ditch my current set up and my dream set up completely here. Drop me in Yellowstone National Park, give me an 8 x 10 Deardorff with a truckload of B&w, and hold my calls. I'm going full Ansel Adams for the year.
Goals for this year? Goals for this year if we weren’t currently in a pandemic?
I think for this year my goal would be to shoot more Polaroids. I know that the possibility to create really incredible images with them is there but for some reason Polaroids and I don't get along. I have a lot of travel coming up this year (hopefully) and I plan on taking the SX-70 everywhere.

Closing statement
If the person who bought my 85mm f1.2 is reading this, can I have it back? I miss it.
